Holly's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: In holly’s first session we trained recalls inside and outside. First we started inside then went outside near the dogs and she did so so well her engagement was fantastic. Practice at home if you walk her around a different environment the more distractions the better. Focus: Distraction A
Skill learnt: Targeting (touch) Comment: In hollys second session we trained touch. She wouldn’t fetch so the next step is to get her to hold an object then progress to fetch. At this stage she was touching the object wouldn’t put it in her mouth but we will work up to this. She kept trying to touch the object with her paw and that’s her brain ticking over thinking what’s he needs to be doing. Focus: Repetition B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Holly’s last session we trained drops in the cattery. At first she was very unsure of the new space but it didn’t take her long to get used to it. She was dropping amazingly next to a cat, she was just focused on the treats. If wanting to train this at home or where ever have her in a controlled position such as drop or place, but once her brain is doing a skill she takes no notice. Focus: Distraction A+

We recommend your next step should be…
