Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Muzzle Conditioning Comment: Session one with Hera we began with muzzle conditioning. The trainer aimed to practice her drops once the muzzle was on although Hera was being rather silly so the trainer had to work on conditioning. Half way through the session the muzzle eventually was able to be put fully on so the trainer gave her treats for engagement which helped with both Hera’s engagement and confidence with the muzzle. Focus: Confidence C+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Session two with Hera we practiced her drop duration outside with dog distractions. Hera started off well but ended her session not so well. She had no engagement and reacted and lunged at a dog in the distance. Hera was corrected and put back into a drop. We then moved to a quiet area to continue her drops. Hera continued to have little engagement and duration in her drops, she also stopped taking treats. Focus: Duration D
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: In her final session, Hera focused on further developing her skill loose lead walking in a variety of high distracting environments, including on the grass, carpark and in the kennel walkway. We focused on this skill to challenge her engagement in a variety of environments. When starting in each area she was initially distracted, however, once the trainer used her known skill of drop she began to redirect her focus. In each area, she progressed to showing good engagement and walking calmly. Focus: Distraction A+
