Hera did well with her skills but did get distracted by dogs in the classroom today. She lost interest further on in the day as she started to tire and we worked on changing up the skills to keep her interested.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For her first session we took Hera into the classroom to work on her drop duration. Hera did struggle a bit with this today with 2 other dogs in the room. While she didn't react she did keep breaking her drop with one of the nearby dogs going on and off place. After moving a little into the cattery to give her more room she did much better and while she still broke every now and then she maintained the drop better. Work on her drop around her impulse control/distractions at home to remind her that she needs to stay in drop until released.||Focus: Duration||C+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For her second session we worked on hanky pull. She was too distracted in the classroom with the other dogs out so we moved into the cattery. She did some good full pulls but did start to lose interest near the end (became a bit more sooky). We finished off with the last minute or so giving her some cuddles to finish off positively.||Focus: Repetition||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For her last session we worked on chin rest with Hera. Hera did really well with this (perhaps because she was still a bit sooky) and placed her head onto the trainer's hand each time. Again she did start to lose interest near the end of the session so we finished off with an easy going walk around the cattery. She was quite exploration, with her cone head down against the ground. She also enjoyed some more cuddles with her favourite trainers. Working on her duration in chin rest will be the next step for this skill.||Focus: Repetition||A+|

C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
