Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Session one with Henry we started with his skill of drop. The trainer practiced this outside with higher distractions. Henry did very well and dropped quickly every time he was asked! The trainer did notice Henry struggled with movement once in a drop. So for the remainder of the session we worked on movement distractions with his duration. Henry does very well at his drops! It is great to see. Focus: Distraction A
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Session two with Henry we practiced his Cafe training skill. The trainer asked him to drop to the trainers side while the trainer had food around as a distraction. Henry was very tempted but he did amazing! He had great duration and great engagement. Focus: Distraction A+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Session three with Henry we started a new skill of “Quoits” this skill will take lots of parts to eventually get the final result. Today we started with getting the quoits ring and when Henry put his mouth on it he was rewarded. By the end of the session he understood and was doing so well. The next step for this skill is to only reward him once his biting the ring followed by holding it. Focus: Repetition A+
