Henry did a great job with his skills today! He is such a good boy and we love having him in with us!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|We focused on
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)
|Comment: For his first session we took Henry next door to the Pony Club oval to work on his loose lead. Henry did really well with this - he had frequent check ins and good engagement with the trainer! He did pull a few times to sniff at fence posts or an interesting spot on the ground but other than that he smashed it today!
|Skill learnt: Exposure
|Comment: For his second session we worked on a bit of artwork for Mr Henry as something fun and different. We picked out some colours for him and used a plastic sleeve and yummy treats to get him to paint his masterpiece- such a clever boy!
|Skill learnt: Trick Training
|Comment: For his last session we worked on having Henry 'pack up his toys' (pick up a toy and put it in a bucket). Henry is very switched on for picking items up now from this and quoits so we refined the skill by only rewarding him for the item going into the bucket (or at least hitting the bucket) to try and have him think a bit more instead of just picking items up and dropping them wherever. He did well with this - he got the toys in the bucket a few times but doesn't stop and think through what is being asked (his eyes are always on the treat bag!). He is very close though so keep at it!
We recommend your next step should be…

B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
