Henry did really well today, we worked on lots of calm tricks today that he didn’t have to move around much for.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: Henry’s first session today was focused on wagon pull. We first started getting him to pull a piece of rope, to do this we presented the rope and waited for him to do something. Immediately he bit the piece of rope, we were able to progress quickly into using the rope attached to a wagon. He wouldn’t quite pull the rope along but he did pick it up several times. Keep working on this skill it’s a great brain workout.||Focus: Foundation||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For his second session today we worked on getting him to pick up a toy. The end goal of this is to have him pick it up and place it in a basket, cleaning up his toys. We focused on the first step just getting him to mouth the toy. He did pretty well and managed to pick the toy up a couple times but he didn’t quite understand the concept. Keep working on this one at home, as he picks the toy up we can then shape it so he drops it closer to a basket/tub.||Focus: Foundation||C+|
|Skill learnt: Targeting (touch)||Comment: For his last session today Henry worked on his touch/target skill. We changed it up a little bit and got him to target a sticky note, this means we can change the location of the sticky note. He did pretty well while we were holding it but needed a bit of guidance when we stuck it on the fridge. This is a fun one to do because we can make the note smaller and smaller, eventually putting it on light switches or buttons! Keep working on this one, lots of repetitions for now!||Focus: Foundation||B|
