2022-04-12

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For his first session we worked on loose lead outside. We started off in the carpark to build engagement and then when he was doing well we transitioned to the grass. Henry did a great job with his loose lead today, he only pulled a few small times and gave great engagement throughout. He also dropped straight away each time he was asked and stayed in drop until released even when the trainer kept walking. Keep up the great work at home and testing him in higher distraction environments with his loose lead and emergency drops. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: For his second session we pushed Henry's drops around distractions including balls, food, wheeled objects and random items. He did a fantastic job with all of these and maintained his drops throughout the session except for one small break when another trainer was close by. At home work on higher value food distractions and any favoured toys for that higher distraction level. Also practice high energy greetings for his drops around others. Focus: Distraction A
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: For his last session we started off with middles. Henry showed good knowledge of this skill and was able to follow a lure in middles while the trainer moved around. For the latter half of the session we switched to the rollover skill. Again Henry has good knowledge in this skill but can struggle with calming down and focusing during it. He did get a little silly and snatchy with food during it so we focused on settling a little for this skill. Use trick skills at home to increase his engagement and confidence. Focus: Repetition B
