Hendrix's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: In hendrix first session today we worked on his drops. He knows his drops well it’s now just working on his duration in the skill. To help his duration we will keep ‘yes’ and rewarding then slowly decrease the treats so he has to wait in the position for the reward. He did do quite well. Focus: Duration B
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: In his second session we worked on his loose lead walking. He did struggle with the engagement so we played a little engagement game, basically all it is when he looks at you, you say ‘yes’ and throw some food on the floor. And keep doing this. He did pull at the start but eventually his loose lead walking was fantastic and his engagement was perfect, next time we will work on this outside which is really distracting for dogs. Focus: Distraction A
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Hendrix last session we worked on his ‘on your mat’ skill which we call it place. He knows this skill well it was now working on distance so him staying on his mat while we take a few steps back. He progressed really well with this skill. Focus: Distance B+

We recommend your next step should be…
