|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Halo’s first session was loose lead walking. The trainer managed to get out outside before the rain, but Halo struggled today with the smells that were around him. The trainer had to work hard to get his focus and not pull towards the distractions. Halo did start to settle towards the end of the session but the goal for next time is to have that engagement from the start.||Focus: Distraction||C|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Drops were the focus of the second session. Halo is much better with his drops and the trainer was able to increase the distance from Halo without him breaking. However, the distraction this time was the trainer and Halo broke a number of times when the trainer was jumping and running around Halo. As the session progressed Halo did much better and the trainer is keen to increase these distractions next time.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: Ring the Bell was Halo’s final session. This involved him grabbing a rope with his mouth and pulling to ring the bell. Halo did a great job with this and when the trainer held the rope Halo did grab it. Next time the trainer would like to see Halo bite the rope next time without the trainer holding it. But Halo did have fun with this trick, trying to figure out what he had to do to get the treats!||Focus: Repetition||B|
