|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Halo’s first session was loose lead walking. The trainer took him straight outside and Halo did a great job. He did pull at the start but with a couple of direction changes and Halo settled well. Throughout the session the trainer had to change directions a few times. But generally Halo’s loose lead walking was a great improvement from last time. Going forward it will be great to increase the distraction.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: The second session for Halo was drops. The trainer started in the classroom, and the progressed outside. Halo struggled to get into the drop position at first, while outside. Then once in position Halo didn’t hold the position long. The trainer repeated the drop until Halo was starting to get in position and then the trainer used the yes marker to help Halo hold the position. By the end of the session Halo was doing much better and next time the trainer will push Halo for longer duration while outside.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
|Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building)||Comment: For the final session the trainer decided to take Halo to the confidence course. Halo was quite very unsure at first and really had to be lured through most of the course with food. But once he’d slowly worked his way around a couple times held was happily running through the course confidently. It was awesome to see. Well done Halo.||Focus: Repetition||X|
