Gryffin's Doggy Dayschool Report

2023-11-09

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Targeting (touch) Comment: Today we worked on “touch” where he is rewarded for engaging with the handler by touching our hand or a spoon. Gryffin is very food driven so this was a breeze for him to pick up. Focus: Repetition B+
Skill learnt: Crate Training Comment: Secondly we worked on his crate manners. Specifically sending him to his crate and expecting him to stay there til he was released. He picked this up so quickly and did an amazing job. The door was left open, and I was able to walk away from him without him releasing himself. He also worked out quite quickly that “place” has the same rules as “crate”. He’s a very smart boy. Focus: Duration B+
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: Lastly we worked on counter conditioning with the blow drier while getting bathed. He wasn’t a huge fan so we took this opportunity to encourage a positive association to the drier. Lots of positive reinforcement. Lots of treats and praise. He did really well. Focus: Conditioning X

We recommend your next step should be…
