Gigi's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: For Gigi’s first skill we worked on being sent to place. While Gigi was able to go to place every time when next to the bed, she struggled when the trainer stood still at a small distance away from the bed and told her to go to place. However after a few repetitions she understood the idea and was going to place at a metre distance. While she was going to place she wasn’t doing it every time so the next step would be to continue to work on this distance. Focus: Distance C+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: For Gigi’s second skill we worked on her drops. She did extremely well with this skill. Even with a new environment, she remained in her drop for the asked duration and would drop on command every time. The next step for Gigi would be to increase her distractions by going outside. Focus: Repetition B+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For the final session we worked on loose lead walking. To start with Gigi was very distracted and was pulling on the lead. However she quickly started to maintain eye contact after only a few uses of the work ‘yes’ after looking at the trainer. By the end of the session Gigi wasn’t pulling on the lead and had excellent engagement with the trainer Focus: Distraction B+
