George's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Mr George spent his first session in the classroom working on his place training. George showed some great prior knowledge so we were able to jump straight into it! We tested him with lots of trainer movement for distractions, as well as some toys and other dogs moving around! George was a little unsure of the two sleepy greyhounds in the corner, and made sure to let them know he was there with a couple barks! Apart from that he showed great engagement and showed some great impulse control, only breaking position early a couple times! Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: This session there was a bit more activity in the classroom so we decided this would be perfect to test his drops! George remembered these and followed the trainers instruction nicely. The only time he broke position was when another dog started playing with their trainer, we were able to gain his focus back and redirect him back into his drop position. Good job George! Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Lastly we had some fun with his touch, spin and middles skill! We worked on all three randomly to keep him guessing what was next! George remembered his spins and was touching a wooden spoon like a pro! We did have to lure him with the middles position (sitting between trainers legs looking up) but he seemed to enjoy it and with some practice/repetitions he will start to understand the pattern nicely. Focus: Repetition B

We recommend your next step should be…
