Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: In Freya’s first session we trained drop with distractions, we had another new nervous dog come in so I wanted to do a skill that will help improve her skills and the other dog. She did do pretty well, sometimes she would break but towards the end she did great, she would just watch the other dog, we added in a ball as a distraction as well which was fantastic. Focus: Distraction A
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: In her second session we trained place with ball distractions, when I would release her I’d let her play with the ball as that would be her reward then tell her to go to place. This was different for her but she will progress. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Leave Comment: In her last session we trained leave it, this was very interesting with her. First we had a plate with a few pieces of kibble I was joking it in my hand as she went to sniff I would say leave it, then when she stopped sniffing I would then reward with fritz. Towards the end I put the kibble on the floor and told her to leave it, she didn’t do to bad. Will take a lot of practice. Focus: Repetition C

We recommend your next step should be…
