|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Freya’s first session was place. She was very excited and was hopping off place as soon as she got on. The trainer worked with Freya to help her with duration in place. By the end of the session the trainer was able to take steps away from Freya and she was holding position much better. The trainer will work towards Freya holding position regardless of distractions.||Focus: Duration||D+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Drop was the focus of the second session. Once again she had trouble holding position. Using the yes marker the trainer was able to increase the duration that Freya was holding drop. The goal will be for Freya to hold position until released.||Focus: Repetition||D+|
|Skill learnt: Play||Comment: The last session was incorporating play with learning to still listen regardless of how aroused Freya is. This gives Freya an outlet to release some of her energy but also teaches her to listen while very distracted. The trainer did this with a tug toy and got Freya to ‘Out’. When Freya let go of the toy and was calm the game continued. Freya did well with this and it was a fun time for both Freya and trainer!||Focus: Repetition||X|
