|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Freya was very excitable walking from the kennels. As she kept running around and getting under the trainer's feet we started off with some teaching of loose lead skill in the classroom. Using lures to help guide her we were able to get Freya walking nicely next to the trainer with no other distractions going on. Continue this at home with lots of lures and treats.||Focus: Foundation||C+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For her second session we worked on Freya's drop skill while Mojo was on place. Freya is getting quite good with this - she follows the hand without food to go into drop and her duration has really improved! Continue working on fading off the lure and increasing duration and she should be able to work with distractions very soon.||Focus: Duration||B+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: For her last session we worked on Freya's place skill. Freya is again very good with the basics of this skill - she goes on place with light signals and her duration is very good if there are no distractions. Today we worked on some light distractions (taking one to two steps away) which she struggled a little with (would stay about 50% of the time). Continue working on very light distractions at home for her place skill.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
