Freya continues to improve in all of her basic obedience skills and does really great work even around other distractions such as people and dogs.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For her first session we worked on Freya’s drops. Continuing on from last week we used just a hand signal and verbal cue which she did quite well with. We also spent a bit of time on her duration which she also did great with. She is making good progress on this skill and we should be able to start distractions from next week.||Focus: Repetition||B+|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For her second session we worked on her loose lead in the classroom with another dog as a distraction. Freya was a little all over the place at the start but did improve as the session went on. By the end of the session she had great engagement with the trainer and was completely ignoring the other dog.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Ring a Bell||Comment: For her last session we worked on Freya’s bell skill. She still struggles to understand what to do with this so we tried helping her by placing her paw on it and rewarding her. Going back a step to a touch skill may help her to better learn how to start off with trick skills or continue helping her to touch it by moving her paw until it “clicks” for her what we want.||Focus: Foundation||C|
