|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In freyas first session today we trained send to place. At the start we just practiced her place skill small repetitions, then we progressed to send to place. She did struggle at the start as we had other dogs and toys around but she did progress really well, and her engagement was fantastic.||Focus: Distraction||A|
|Skill learnt: Recall||Comment: In her second session we trained recalls. Last week we had one of our mentors down from Melbourne who taught us a few different ways to train some skills and recalls was one of them. First we conditioned her to the marker which is ‘come’ same as reward markers how we have to charge them. Then we progressed to saying come and luring right on to our stomach so when we say ‘come’ she had to come right to us. She progressed well with this.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In her last session we trained hold. At first she was just putting her mouth over the object, we then progressed to holding the object for a few seconds which was fantastic she progressed well with this skill as well and hoping we can progress some more with this.||Focus: Duration||B+|
We recommend your next step should be…

B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
