Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Session one with Freya we started with her skill of loose lead. The trainer started this skill in the kennels followed by outside and the classroom. Freya had great engagement with the trainer and preformed great loose lead throughout the session. One thing the trainer did note was Freya wasn’t so keen on treats which isn’t normal for her. Focus: Distraction A+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Session two with Freya we practiced her skill of quoits. This session the trainer focused on her duration holding the ring. It is known that Freya is able to bite the ring with her mouth so the trainer now pushes the ring slightly towards her when she’s biting it followed by a reward which will slowly increase duration. Freya had great engagement and her duration increased slightly throughout the session! Focus: Repetition B+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Session three with Freya we practiced her drops outside. Freya did start off distracted although after a few rewards Freya gains better engagement with the trainer. This session the trainer focused on her duration in her drops in a distracting environment. Freya did so well! Focus: Duration A
