|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: Frey-Frey started her day practicing her ‘sit pretty’ trick, focusing on duration still. She was very enthusiastic and performed beautifully!! There were a few really good ones, but the rest she would often just jump up for a second before falling back down. Keep practicing this at home and try to catch her while shes in position, she will sometimes use her own paw to steady herself on the trainer. Let us know how you go!||Focus: Duration||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: Next up, Freya worked on her ‘skateboard’ skill, still also focusing on pushing herself with 2 paws. She did well! Like Mojo, if she were to take 1 paw off the trainer would use “ah ah” and have her reposition herself before continuing. Keep practicing this at home!! She is super confident in pushing herself, just needs to keep 2 paws on at all times. Use a close treat lure for her and let us know how she goes!||Focus: Duration||B+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: To end Freya’s day, she learnt a new trick, ‘bang’. This skill is essentially where the trainer will use a hand gun and say “bang”, to which Freya will lay on her side and play dead. As this was her first session and she is learning the foundations of it, the trainer practiced luring her onto her side and “yes” rewarding her once she was still. Once she is performing this 90% of the time, we can begin to add in the hand gun and pair it. Keep practicing getting her to stay still on her side at home, she does do it eventually, just have to give her a minute! Awesome work Freys!||Focus: Foundation||B|
