Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: For her first session we worked on Freya's place skill. The focus of today was two parts - sending Freya to place from a distance and continuing with movement distractions. Freya was fantastic at being sent to place from 1-2m away - she was able to go all the way to place without any issues. With her movement distractions she does still break about half the time but she did improve as time went on and the trainer was able to jump around and take several steps back without her breaking. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For her second session we worked on Freya's loose lead skill in the classroom. Despite another big dog walking around and a noisy dog in a crate she had great focus on the trainer and walked very nicely. Keep up the great work with her at home! Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: For her last session we worked on Freya's drops. The goal for today was to get her to drop only with a low hand signal and the verbal cue. Freya did really well with this and dropped majority of the time she was asked! Keep working on this at home so that she doesn't need any lures. Focus: Foundation B
