2023-11-09

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: Firstly we worked on Freddie’s recall around distractions. Specifically sniffing all the new smells, and having dogs play in the paddock next door. Freddie has a very good recall around distractions, his head turned almost immediately when called. He did a fantastic job, so we will increase distractions next time. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Crate Training Comment: Secondly we worked on crate training, most importantly being sent to his crate. He did such a good job, understands boundaries really well. Doesn’t release himself from the crate til he’s told, overall did a fantastic job. Next time we will leave the door open and increase duration before releasing him. Focus: Conditioning B+
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: Lastly we worked on canine conditioning. This was something fun to do inside as a relationship building task because it was quite warm outside. This particular exercise works on their pastern strength & core strength. He picked this up really well. He’s a very smart boy. Next time we will work on duration holding a stand while on the balance equipment. To perform this skill requires a lot of trust in the handler. Next time we will work on duration and proofing this skill. Focus: Foundation B

We recommend your next step should be…
