Freda did so well today! She still struggles with her engagement in her sessions but is doing so well with her confidence. Keep up the great work at home and we can't wait to see her again!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For her first session we took miss Freda outside to work on her loose lead. She was interested in the other dog and other people around but did not pull towards them which was great. Her loose lead was awesome throughout the walk but she did struggle to engage and focus on the trainer. Practice engagement games at home and reward her for checking in while walking. She wasn't really keen on treats but loved cuddles so physical affection may be a reward that can be used to increase engagement.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For her second session we worked on drop in the classroom around other dogs. Freda was good when focused but she was easily distracted by other people and kept turning around to sit in front of the trainer. When in drop she did do well with her duration (only a few early breaks) but needs a bit more work on going straight into drop when asked and fading out the lure. At home work on not using much of a lure and having her maintain the drop until her release word||Focus: Duration||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For her last session we worked on going through a hoop to build her confidence. Freda did so well with this! She happily followed treats through to get to the trainer on the other side and kept going through even as the trainer started raising the hoop height. She was very happy doing this skill so look at continuing on with this and other trick skills at home to keep building her confidence.||Focus: Confidence||B+|
