|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Frankie’s first session was place with dog distraction. Frankie struggled with place today. Breaking at simple things like the trainer walking away from place after giving Frankie a pat. She did progress well but was still breaking at the trainer doing big arm movements(dancing) around Frankie. Next time it would be good to get Frankie to a point where she resists these distractions. A point to note she displayed a no reactivity to the other dog on place or the others in crates. Well done Frankie.||Focus: Distraction||D+|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Frankie’s next session was loose lead walking. The trainer started in the classroom and Frankie pulled a bit but with changing directions Frankie started focusing on the trainer. Once outside, however Frankie really struggled with engagement and pulling. The trainer did not walk far before changing directions help help engage Frankie. Next time the trainer will work more with Frankie and engagement to help with Frankie’s progress||Focus: Repetition||D|
|Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building)||Comment: The final session for the day was the confidence course. Frankie was a bit unsure at first but then ventured and was more confident with the things underfoot. However she was thrown by the objects hanging above her head and it took a little encouragement to get her through that part. By then end though she was going through all sections well.||Focus: Repetition||X|
