It was a pleasure to have Miss Fern in for training, she is such a sweet girl who loves her training and cuddles. She is very clever and is progressing well with all of her skills.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In her first session, Fern focused on further developing her skill 'place' with repetitions and distractions (including human, ball and toy movement). We focused on this skill to further improve her impulse control. Fern performed very well, she initially broke place once when the ball rolled passed her, but with some guidance she began to maintain it well. She successfully remained on place while two dogs walked past her. We suggest continuing to practise this skill at home.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In her second session, Fern focused on further developing her skill 'drop' with duration under distractions (three dogs training within the classroom). Fern performed very well, she was initially distracted by the environment, but with some guidance she began to redirect her focus and maintain her drop well. She remained in drop while multiple dogs walked past her. We suggest continuing to practise this skill at home.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In her final session, Fern focused on learning the new skill 'targeting' with repetitions within the classroom. We focused on this skill to help build her engagement. Fern performed very well, she interacted with the spoon (target) straight away. She was performing so well the trainer began to move the spoon to increase the difficulty. Fern continued to perform well, despite the increase in difficulty.||Focus: Foundation||A|
