Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building) Comment: Fenna’s first session was the confidence course. This was to help her settle into her day. She did go through a couple of times but was more interested in the building that was going on. So the trainer got her to sit around the building area and she also got the pets from the other staff there. Focus: Repetition X
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: The second session was a focus on loose lead walking around other dogs. The trainer took Fenna down the main aisle of the kennel and she did well with this lower distraction. The trainer than took Fenna to the back of the kennels where it is a bit louder and more distracting. Fenna, although did everything that was asked, did struggle with this and was clearly not happy. Although she did curl her lip a couple of times as the session progressed Fenna settled more. This is something that the trainer would like to work more in next time. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: The final session for Fenna was a refresh on place. Fenna broke only once when trying to follow the trainer. The trainer then worked on send to place with Fenna. She did not have a good grasp on this so the trainer focused on this. Next time it would be good to see Fenna go to place from a distance. It was good to have Fenna in for a dayschool and to see that she her still going forward with her training and development. Focus: Distance C+
