|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Fenna’s first session was loose lead walking. The trainer took Fenna through the paddocks and Fenna was fantastic. A little pulling at times but not to frequent. The trainer went up to the caretaker who was building a fence and Fenna sat well while there. On the way back to the classroom Fenna had a little time off the lead in the paddock and enjoyed a good sniff. Awesome job for the first session Fenna.||Focus: Distraction||A|
|Skill learnt: Recall||Comment: Second session for Fenna was recalls and drops in the grassed training area. Fenna was a little distracted by some of the smells and wasn’t keen to drop at first. As the session progressed, Fenna did really well and was holding position well and her recalls were fantastic.||Focus: Repetition||B|
|Skill learnt: Targeting (touch)||Comment: Last session for Fenna was touch. Fenna was not interested in the targeting stick so the trainer decided to use her hand instead. This worked much better and Fenna was consistently touching the trainer’s hand when asked. The trainer also enjoyed a few nice cuddles in the session. Fenna will be missed until she is back.||Focus: Repetition||C+|
