Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: In her first session, Emma was a little overwhelmed by the classroom environment, the trainer used this session to build her confidence and condition her for the classroom. Emma explored the classroom, had cuddles from the trainer and played. The trainers discovered Emma loves to play, she enjoyed playing with tennis balls and zooming around the classroom. Focus: Confidence X
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: In her second session, Emma was settled and ready to learn, she was taking treats and wagging her tail. The trainer focused on further developing her skill place on the couch. Emma happily jumps onto the couch, she did initially struggle to hold duration, but this is expected as she is still learning the skill. As the session progressed she began to show good improvement in her duration and overall performance with this skill. Keep practising at home. Focus: Foundation B
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: In her final session, Emma focused on building confidence and conditioning to a tunnel. Emma interacted with the tunnel quickly and showed no fear towards it. With some encouragement from the trainer, she began to walk through the small tunnel. After a few repetitions, the trainer challenged her further with a longer tunnel. Although it took her a few minutes she successfully walked through this tunnel as well. Focus: Conditioning B
