Eddie was great today - he performed his skills really well and had great focus throughout the day
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For his first session we worked on Eddie's loose lead skill outside on the grass in the beautiful sunny weather. Eddie did like to walk ahead a fair bit but was very responsive to his markers and would automatically slow down with a gentle "uh-uh". He wasn't as interested in his tennis ball as the treats and gave excellent engagement wherever food was involved. He did struggle with his drops while walking (would almost always sit instead) so this is an area to improve in.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: As Eddie had struggled a bit with drops in the previous session we worked on drops this session. We started off in the classroom - after a few drops with a hand signal he was back to doing verbal only drops which was great! He did break early a few times, especially if the trainer moved on after stopping so this is something to continue working on. As he did so well we went outside to the grassy area and he performed really well outside with verbal only drops and only broke early once. Great improvement in this from the start of the day!||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: For his last session we worked on send to place outside. Eddie does really well from a metre away but struggled at the 2m mark (would sit or drop once the trainer stopped and asked for place).he can do it if the trainer keeps moving so work a bit on sending him to place independently at home. He was great once on place and often went straight into lying down on it on his own.||Focus: Distance||B|
