|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: In his first session, Dyson focused on further developing his skill 'loose lead walking ' with repetitions under distractions (training outside and around dogs). We focused on this skill to build engagement and reduce his challenging behaviour of pulling. Dyson was initially distracted by the environment and showed little engagement with his trainer. But as the session progressed, he quickly began to redirect his focus and perform well. We suggest continuing to practise this skill at home in a low distracting environment.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his second session, Dyson focused on further developing his skill 'drop' with repetitions and back to basics. We focused on going back to basics as the trainers have noticed he can struggle with his drops. Dyson performed very well, he initially struggled with duration but with some guidance he began to maintain it well. We suggest continuing to practise this skill at home.||Focus: Back to Basics||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In his final session, Dyson focused on learning the new skill 'spin' with repetition within the classroom. We focused on this skill to build engagement and begin working on a recall. Dyson performed very well, he followed the lure well, this lure was quickly faded. The trainer was very impressed with how quickly he learnt this skill and his excitement of learning something new.||Focus: Foundation||B+|
