2021-04-21

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Duke still has trouble focusing. And is still not taking treats. However, the trainer, did take Duke out for some loose lead walking. Duke did well with this and although he had trouble focusing on the trainer, he still walked well. When he pulled the trainer changed direction and encouraged Duke to follow. The trainer will keep working with Duke on this to help him get more engagement with his handler. Focus: Repetition D+
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: As Duke is still struggling to adjust to the new surroundings at Windamere he isn't responding to commands like drop. To help him to continue to adjust the trainer spent time with him in the office and kitchen. This exposes him to new environments but with people he is getting used to in the kennels. The trainer will continue to do this every time Duke is at Windamere. Given this is only his third time here he is doing well. . Focus: Repetition D
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: For his last session the trainer took Duke outside, to sit with Duke in the same place that they sat yesterday. This, again, is to help Duke get used to the surroundings We want him to become comfortable enough to learn. Next time the trainer will continue to expose Duke to the same things to that he becomes used to them and be comfortable in these environments. Focus: Repetition D
