Duke did so well today woth added distractions and levels to each of his skills. Well done Duke!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|We focused on
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)
|Comment: For his first session we worked on loose lead in the classroom, using a mix of toys and objects as distractions. Duke did really well with this, after a brief lure over the first few times he had no interest in the objects under his feet. A good next step for this will be to test his loose lead around food as we know how much he loves his food!
|Skill learnt: Recall
|Comment: For his second session we worked on recalls in the carpark using the long line and the length of the carpark. Again we put Duke in a sit or drop and had him hold the position until recalled with "come". Duke did really well with this, his recalls are fairly straight and focused though he sometimes forgets to finish in a sit with all the excitement of getting the treat.
|Skill learnt: Place Training
|Comment: For his last session we worked on place and adding a towel and wooden board as extra objects for Duke to "place" onto. He did need a bit of help with these (he kept doing paws up on the board instead of standing on it) but considering the difficulty of adding trickier objects he did quite well! We finished off with some duration on the bed place - he broke twice but held it otherwise over the 5mins or so.
We recommend your next step should be…
A: Outstanding (90 – 100%) I understand my training, Neat & Complete! Ready to move on to higher difficulty & distraction
B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
