|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: The trainer worked on Bentley's loose lead walking as soon as he was in the trainer's hands this morning. Although he barked at the start he settled down really quickly and the muzzle was off in the first couple of minutes. Bentley still as a tendacy to pull if he wants to get a certain place. (the classroom) The trainer kept turning to the opposite direction and by the end of the session Bentley was working out that he wasn't going to get to where he wanted any quicker by pulling!||Focus: Repetition||C+|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: The second session was working on Bentley's engagement with the trainer. He is still struggling with this however, the trainer is persevering and today he was a bit more engaged. One of the ways Bentley became engaged with the trainer today was when the trainer was running around the room with Bentley, throwing treats as Bentley was running as well. After this Bentley showed a little interest in touch but soon lost focus again. The trainer will keep working on this and each week there is a little bit more focus.||Focus: Repetition||D+|
|Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building)||Comment: Bentley's final session was a bit of a mixed bag of things to help him engage with the trainer. First up were drops outside. Bentley as always does well with this drops. While outside the trainer ran around again with Bentley. He appears to like this and he tail wags and he makes eye contact more than normal with the trainer. The session finished up with a run around the confidence course. Again Bentley's engagement was a better during this and he tail was wagging a lot as he chased the trainer around the course. Awesome work Bentley.||Focus: Repetition||C+|
