Duke's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: This session we practiced some repetitions on and off place. We worked outside in the shade which provided lots of good distractions. Duke showed good understanding of his place skill so we tested a few different trainer distractions while he remained in position. He did really well only breaking position a couple times throughout the session. Focus: Repetition B+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: This session focused on his drops around people distractions. This was hard for him since he loves people so much - but it’s a good chance to build that impulse control. We practiced some quick repetitions as well as some longer duration holds. He did really well, we increased the treats whenever someone was walking past, this helped him focus more on us rather than the distraction. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Lastly Duke practiced his loose lead walking in the carpark, again around lots of people distractions. He did well to remain focused on the trainer, moving around seemed to help keep his brain busy. We also threw in some random sits to keep him thinking. Focus: Distraction B+

We recommend your next step should be…
