Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: For Duchesses first session we worked on conditioning her to the classroom/trainers. Duchess is still very nervous and isn’t taking treats. We had an empty classroom without any extra trainers or dogs to begin with so we allows Duchess to just explore and get more comfortable in her environment. At times she just sat infront of the trainer and in this case she was given pats. Duchess is slowly improving as she was sniffing around the floor today and even sniffed the treats at times! While the beautiful girl is still very nervous, she is slowly making progress. Focus: Conditioning X
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: For Duchesses second session we worked on conditioning again. For this session we allowed Duchess to explore however we found that she just stood at the door. Instead we sat in the far corner and Duchess just watched the classroom. After about a minute duchess decided to sit down and then towards the end she even laid down! Focus: Conditioning X
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: For Duchesses last session we worked on conditioning again. As there were a few noisy dogs in the classroom duchess struggled with all the stimuli. She again laid down for this session but her ears were pined back and she was panting quiet abit. Even though Duchess wasn’t taking treats the trainer still threw them to her throughout the session as it still shows her that she gets rewards while everything is going on. Towards the end the trainer got Duchess to go onto one of the beds and she relaxed a little bit better! Focus: Conditioning X
