Diesel worked so hard on his trick skills today! He should hopefully be very tired tonight, he gave every attempt his all.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For his first session we continued with his roll in a blanket skill. Diesel was a little frustrated at the start and kept using his paws on the towel. After he started grabbing at it and being rewarded he really improved. He is starting to understand he needs to grab and pull at the corner of the blanket so the next step is building his hold duration so that he can maintain it during roll-over.||Focus: Foundation||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For his second session we worked on Diesel's quoits skill. He has improved so much in this, well done! We started off with having him grab a ring over the peg and drop it onto it and then started working on having him grab them from the floor. He learnt quickly though did get easily frustrated. Over time he started grabbing onto them and lifting them higher and got so close to moving it onto the peg all on his own!||Focus: Foundation||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: As he was doing so well we moved straight into his last session with continuing his quoits skill. He made so many close calls but just missed getting it on thr peg. With a little more practice I have no doubt he will be smashing this skill soon! He did start to mentally tire near the end and was only just lifting the ring off the floor so we finished off with a well deserved cuddle session.||Focus: Repetition||B+|
