Diesel did fantastic work for his first day here! He was a very happy and confident boy that learnt very quickly and loved cuddles from the trainers.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: For his first session we took it easy in the classroom by working on his markers and the foundations for place. Diesel was very happy and confident while training - he happily followed and took treats during the session. He quickly learnt what was required for the place skill and was able to start building duration during the session.||Focus: Foundation||B|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For his second session we worked on the foundations of drop for Diesel. We worked on luring him into drop from a stand - it took him a little while to understand but he got quicker as the session progressed. The next stage will be getting a high accuracy with luring and then pairing it with his release marker and a verbal cue.||Focus: Foundation||C+|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For his last session we started on some basics of loose lead. Diesel is young and gets easily distracted so using lots of treats to increase his engagement will help strengthen his loose lead skill. Work on luring him during walks inside the house and in the yard (as long as he isn't too distracted outside) as well as rewarding him (use the "yes" marker!) everytime he looks at you.||Focus: Foundation||C+|
