Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: In his first session, Diesel focused on conditioning to wheels moving around him, beginning with smaller wheels on the skateboard and progressing to the pram. The trainer began with Diesel in drop while pushing these objects around him. He showed no reactions and continued to engage with a trainer. As he performed well the trainer challenged him with beginning to walk next to the pram. Once again Diesel performed well, showed great engagement with his trainer and continued to respond to commands. He successfully remained engaged and performed skills such as spin and drop while the trainer was running with the pram. Next time we will challenge him further with wheelchair and bike distractions. Focus: Conditioning A
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: In his second session, Diesel focused on learning the new skill hold to build onto the new skill Quoits. Diesel performed very well, he interacted with the Quoits ring quickly, touching it with his nose. As the session progressed, he began to slowly open his mouth onto the ring. Diesel repeatedly opened his mouth onto the ring, he also began to slowly hold the ring for a second longer. Focus: Foundation C+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: In his final session, Diesel focused on learning the new skill roll yourself in a blanket. We focused on this skill as it will be challenging for him, combining several small skills. Diesel already knows rollover which is a big aspect of this skill. In this session, we worked on Diesel tugging and grabbing the towel. Diesel performed well, he interacted with the towel straight away, touching it with his nose. After some guidance, he began to tug on the towel. This would be a great skill to continue to practice at home. Focus: Foundation C+
