|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For Diesel’s first session the trainer worked on loss lead. The trainer did this in the cattery where there were cats at the front the cages as well as other distracting items that Diesel found very interesting. At the start of the session Diesel was quite distracted but as the session continued he focused more and was working well with those distraction.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For Diesels second session the trainer worked on chin in palm. Diesel needed to be lured onto the trainers had to start with and the trainer continued with this until understood what was required of him. From that point diesel started resting his chin in the trainers hand. He is not consistent with this yet but he worked hard for those treats. At home continue with this until he can hold the position for a short time.||Focus: Repetition||C+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Diesels third session the trainer worked on place. As this was a new trainer for Diesel’s day he did try to push the boundaries and broke from place a couple of times. However as the session progressed Diesel did well, resisting bowls of food and another trainer making noises to distract him. The trainer ended the session with a little time in the clamshell pool, which Diesel enjoyed.||Focus: Repetition||B|
