Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: In his first session, Diesel focused on further developing his skill 'loose lead' walking around the pet retreat facility. Diesel was initially distracted by the environment (dogs barking) showing little engagement. However, he quickly redirected his focus onto the trainer and perform very well. Diesel successfully walked past people, cats, cars and birds while remaining engaged with his trainer. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: In his second session, Diesel focused on further developing his skill 'toe touch'. Diesel performed well, he quickly began touching the trainers foot. We worked on him correctly identifying which paw needs to touch which foot. This was initially challenging but he quickly picked it up. Focus: Foundation B
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: In his final session, Diesel focused on further developing his skill 'roll over', reducing the lure. Diesel performed very well, he loves this skill and the lure was quickly able to be reduced. The trainer also began adding the verbal cue Roll over. Focus: Foundation B+
