|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: In his first session, Diesel focused on further developing his skill 'loose lead' walking with repetitions under distractions (training in and around the kennel area). We focused on this skill to challenge Diesel with high dog distractions (dogs barking, running and playing within their kennel). Diesel performed very well, he was initially interested in the dogs but redirected his focus quickly. We suggest continuing to practise this skill at home under a variety of different distractions.||Focus: Distraction||A|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In his second session, Diesel focused on further developing his skill 'chin rest' under distraction of a body exam. Diesel initially broke the chin rest several times when the trainer began to touch his body, but with some guidance he quickly began to remain in the correct position. The trainer was successfully able to perform a full body exam while he remained in a chin rest several times. We suggest continuing to practise this skill at home.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In his final session, Diesel focused on further developing his skill 'place' with high food distractions, working on minimalizing hi vocalisations. Diesel performed well, he initially cried at the food, but with some guidance he quickly began to remain quite. We suggest continue to practise this skill at home.||Focus: Distraction||B|
