|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In his first session Diesel focused on further developing his skill ‘send to place’ with repetitions under distractions. We focused on this skill to challenge his understanding of the skill and improve his knowledge. Diesel performed very well, he happily jumps onto the best with a lure. This lure was slowly faded as the session progressed to pointing at the bed. This session was completed while 3 other dogs where training with the classroom.||Focus: Foundation||C+|
|Skill learnt: Recall||Comment: In his second session, Diesel focused on learning the new skill ‘recall’ while training outside. We focused on this skill to build engagement and begin training a recall. Diesel performed very well, he responds very well to his name and quickly began to follow the trainer. To have a look at how we have begun training his recall have a look on our Instagram story.||Focus: Foundation||B|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his final session, Diesel focused on developing his skill 'drop' with duration. We focused on this skill to build his impulse control. Diesel initially struggled to remain in drop, however as the session progressed, he slowly began to maintain it well. The trainer used a high reinforcement schedule (treats every 3 -5 seconds) to help him remain in drop. The trainer was able to completely stand up while he remained in a drop.||Focus: Duration||B|
