Dexter smashed out his skills today! His basic obedience skills continue to improve and he did really well with a new trainer.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Today Dexter did loose lead with drops and distractions, this included with toys and food. He did very well with this and kept good focus on the trainer. We would like to see him not get distracted at all in the future and to keep up with good engagement while walking.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Dexter did RLGL outside today to test him with more distractions. This includes getting Dexter razzed up with play and then asking him to drop. He did fairly well & 80% of the time he dropped exactly when told, but other times he was a little slow in responding. We would like Dexter to be able to drop immediately 100% of the time in the future in case of any situation that he may face.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Dexter practiced his place today, both send to and with distractions. He did extremely well and was not distracted by any of the toys or food presented before him. Hula hoops and bowling pins were then incorporated and he was a little more aware of these objects, but still did very good in not breaking his place. In the future we would like for Dexter to get better at staying more still while on place with these distractions.||Focus: Distraction||A|
