Daphne's Doggy Dayschool Report

2022-04-20

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Engagement Comment: Next up for Daph, she played an engagement game in the classroom to help build her focus on the trainer. She did really well! Daphne happily retrieved the treats the trainer threw to either side and checked in after each treato! Towards the end of the session more dogs entered the classroom and this proved to be more difficult for her. Keep helping build her engagement at home with slightly higher distractions. So proud, Daphne! Focus: Distraction X
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Daphne began her day practicing her ‘loose lead’ walking outside with her sister Delilah. She did really well! Daphne was not phased by having Delilah with her and was able to walk at the same pace as the trainer who was switching from normal speed, to slow, fast and even added in random turns. Keep practicing this at home! Awesome stuff! Focus: Distraction A
Skill learnt: Sit Comment: To finish off Daphne’s day, she practiced her ‘sit’ skill outside with distractions. She did fairly well, although she was quite distracted by the other dog and trainer out, but when the trainer used her non-reward marker “ah ah”, she would then plop herself into the skill. Keep pushing this skill at home and increase the distraction levels and see how you go. Great work today, Daph!! Focus: Distraction B

We recommend your next step should be…
