It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For Daphne’s first session we worked on her loose lead outside incorporating sits. This is a good skill for Daphne as it allows her to walk nicely on a lead. To begin with Daphne was very overwhelmed and was pulling to sniff the grass. When this occurred the trainer used ‘uh uh’ to show her this isn’t ok. When Daphne walked nicely next to the trainer she was told ‘yes’ and rewarded. If Daphne was really struggling to contain her excitement while walking she was asked to go into her sit. Daphne did really well with her sits. The next step for Daphne will be to continue working on her loose lead outside are she did get distracted by the smells a few times. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: For Daphnes second session we worked on her place skill outside. This is a good skill yo allow her to settle onto the bed around distractions. Daphne started off very distracted by a tree so we had to move away from the tree before asking for place. After we moved from the tree she was going to place when asked. There were a few times she’d stop however if the trainer took a step forward she’d often go onto the bed. If she didn’t she was told ‘uh uh’ and put onto the bed. Daphne was doing this from a distance of about 3 meters. The next step will be to continue working at this distance around high distractions and slowly ask for a greater distance when she does well. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Middle Position Comment: For Daphnes last session we worked on her peekaboo skill. She did really well with this skill! We started with a lure but we’re quickly able to fade it out. Towards the end of the session she was able to go in her Peekaboo from a distance of 1 meter without a lure. The next step for her will be to continue working on the distance she goes into it from. Focus: Distance B+

We recommend your next step should be…
