|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In Dakota’s first session today we trained place with distractions, the distractions we were using was a ball. She absolutely loves the ball and did find this quite challenging, first we were just throwing the ball and catching it because bouncing it was to much for her. This is a great distraction for her so we would love to keep working on this.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: In her second session we trained conditioning her to the vacuum, was perfect timing because the kennel staff were vacuuming! She didn’t do to bad at first she was abit shaky but with lots of treats she progressed a lot. Stoped shaking but was still aware it was there. In her next level I’d like to work on this more with her, or even if your both home and you can give it a go that would be fantastic.||Focus: Repetition||B|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In her last session we trained drops outside near the other dog that were in the outside kennels. This is a great way for her to learn to be calm around other dogs and drop is a great controlled position for that. She barley took notice of the other dogs behind her she was just concentrated on the trainer. She didn’t break from her drop once either which was fantastic. In her next level I’d still like to practice this.||Focus: Distraction||A|
