Daisy's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: In Daisy’s first session today we trained place with distance. We added distance in as she started to progress with her duration on the object, this just includes taking a few steps back, then reward. She did really well with this skill, in her next level I’d like to see how she goes while another dog is in training as well. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: In her second session today we trained recalls inside, we did this skill inside as she was way to distracted outside and wouldn’t listen to her name. Inside she did a lot better normally wait for her to get distracted by a smell or something call her name, once she’s coming towards you then say come and walk backwards once she’s at your feet that’s when you reward with ‘yes’ and a treat. In her next level I would like to focus on this as she would still get distracted pretty easily inside. Focus: Repetition B
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: In her last session we trained lead conditioning and drops, with the lead conditioning she was perfect did not care about the lead at all. The problem might be is that she doesn’t like going in the car so then when she sees the lead you go to put on her she knows she’s going in the car. If that is possible I’m not 100% sure if that could be the problem but if so, make the lead a positive experience put it near her favourite toys, or if you walk her use the lead you use in the car. Focus: Repetition B+

We recommend your next step should be…
