Crystal had a great day working on her skills! She is a very clever girl who loves to train! We would love to see her at one of our upcoming Basic Obedience classes to further work on her skills in a group setting!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|We focused on
|Skill learnt: Place Training
|Comment: First session Crystal worked on her place skill. This session we worked on sending her to place from a short distance while also working on her duration with trainer movement/distractions. The trainer was able to quickly move around the bed, move away and sit down and go out of sight. Crystal broke before her release word a handful of times but was easily redirected back to the bed by saying uh uh. Keep working on this at home.
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down
|Comment: Next session Crystal worked on her “down” skill. She did well during this session holding the skill whilst another dog was trained near by and her trainer moved around her. We also worked on asking her to down while the trainer took a couple of steps away, this was a bit more of a challenge as she likes to follow the trainer then go into position but was beginning to get the hang of it. Keep up the good work at home!
|Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object)
|Comment: In Crystals final session we worked on some confidence building with Paws Up and using the wobble board. Crystal quickly picked up Paws Up, happily putting her front two paws on the pod. We moved onto the wobble board, Crystal was a bit hesitant of its movements and would only eat treats off of it and put one paw on it quickly but with more practise her confidence will grow!
We recommend your next step should be…
A: Outstanding (90 – 100%) I understand my training, Neat & Complete! Ready to move on to higher difficulty & distraction
B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
