It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: First session Crystal worked on her place skill. Today we focused on sending her to place, gradually increasing the distance while also working nearby to other dogs. Crystal did well this session showing minimal interest in the other dogs and focusing on the trainer. She was able to take herself to the place bed from a couple of metres away and hold her duration around trainer movement. This skill will be fantastic at home to redirect unwanted behaviours, keep working on this at home. Focus: Distance B
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: In Crystals second session we worked on some paw conditioning and Crystal made her very own paw painting! We started off with handling her paw, marking yes and rewarding her. As she became more confident we started working on the painting, she was a bit unsure about the paint on her paw and there for a bit wriggly but we made sure to keep it nice and positive and lots of treats involved! Paw conditioning is so important to help with handling, nail trims, vet visits etc. Focus: Conditioning X
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Crystals final session we worked on her down skill. Today’s focus was duration in the skill while working around other dogs. Crystal did really well this session, she showed no interest in the other dogs, each time she looked at them we marked yes and gave her a treat to continue building a positive association around dogs. As the session progressed we were able to decrease the distance between her and the other dogs! Keep working on this at home! Focus: Distraction B
