Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building) Comment: Cosmos first session was the confidence course. And he smashed it. He was really happy to continue around the course even without the trainer encouraging him around. He also went into a crate well and was reasonably settled in a loud and distracting classroom. Focus: Repetition X
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Next up for Cosmo was place. This is a great skill to help dogs learn to self settle and helps with over excitement when visitors come to the house. Cosmo really picked up on the skill well and was great at keeping all four feet on the place bed regardless of trainer movement. He did break a few times but as the session progressed he was holding position better. Focus: Repetition C+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Cosmo had a focus on drop for his final session. This is a good controlled position to help give our dogs a job to when there are distractions. Cosmo knew what drop was but would pop straight back up again. So the trainer spent the session building duration with Cosmo. As the session progressed Cosmo was starting to hold position for longer. This can be practiced at home with low distracting environments. Well done Cosmo. Focus: Duration C+
